Thermon’s HLX™ Self-Regulating Heat Trace delivers:

ENERGY EFFICIENCY & SUSTAINABILITY

  • Automatically adjusts heat output based upon the temperature, delivering optimal heating for both cold and warm spots
  • Third party tested to Low Smoke and Zero Halogen (LSZH) standards to meet the latest building requirements for fire safety and environmental sustainability
  • Eliminates the overheating cost and waste of recirculation systems, delivering heat to the point of use

SAFETY & RELIABILITY

  • Self-regulating core prevents overheating, even when overlapped
  • CSA certified and CE marked for use in ordinary locations
  • Utilizes proven and proprietary compounding, extrusion, and cross-linking technology for extended service life
  • Polymer Coated Aluminum Foil layer protects core against insulation plasticizer diffusion, ensuring reliable performance for all typical insulation types

EASE OF DESIGN & INSTALLATION

  • Replaces a hot water recirculation system’s complex network of return pipes, circulating pumps, and balancing valves.
  • Cut-to-length, parallel circuitry solves the challenges of tracing complex small diameter piping
  • Blue (40 & 45 °C), green (50 & 55 °C), and red (60 °C) color coding and simple product naming/marking for ease of maintain temperature identification
