Announcing the release of Genesis Duo Firmware Version 1.5.0

Thermon continues to focus on advancing the efficiency of Heat Trace Asset Management by making continuous improvements to the Controls & Monitoring solutions portfolio. As a part of Thermon’s Digitization initiative and our commitment to providing a great experience to our customers, we release new features/fixes on our products on a regular basis.

This release is for the latest version of the Genesis Duo firmware which introduces support for configurable alarm relay behavior on the Duo devices

Features

1. Alarm Relay Mode is now configurable to one of the following via HMI:
   1. Energize to Alarm (ETA)
   2. De-Energize to Alarm (DTA)

Note:

Version 1.5 is not currently supported by the Egis Platform. If the Genesis Duo is deployed as part of a Genesis Network installation, please do not upgrade to this version. Continue using the currently supported firmware version until Egis Platform compatibility is announced.

Recommended Action

We strongly encourage all customers to upgrade to this latest release if devices are deployed as standalone units. Please coordinate with our Field Services or Product Management teams to facilitate your upgrade.
