Thermon continues to focus on advancing the efficiency of Heat Trace Asset Management by making continuous improvements to the Controls & Monitoring solutions portfolio. As a part of Thermon’s Digitization initiative and our commitment to providing great experience to our customers, we release new features/fixes on our products on a regular basis.
We are pleased to announce the release of v2.1.0 software of the Egis Platform (formerly called Genesis Network Software or Genesis Server).
Features
- Network Health: Augmentation of Network Health feature for improved monitoring of Genesis Bridges and controllers in the network.
- Alarm Acknowledgement: Extended alarm acknowledgement support to third-party controller alarms and added bulk acknowledgement capabilities.
- User Experience
- Notes: Ability to view notes on the ‘Alarms’ dashboard as well as the ability to print notes from both the ‘Alarms’ and ‘Circuit’ views.
- Setpoint Values: Ability to view setpoint values for circuits with alarms on the ‘Alarms’ dashboard.
- Graphs: Added the capability to display alarm event data in graph for improved visibility and analysis.
Resolved Issues
- Installation and Setup: Modification to the setup procedure to eliminate some of the additional manual steps involved during a fresh site installation.
- LockOut TagOut (LOTO): Resolved issues affecting bulk lockout/tagout operations across multiple circuits.
- Device management: Addressed issues related to moving or reassigning bridges, panels, controllers and Genesis Duo.
- Alarms: Fixed issues related to acknowledge action, alarm visibility, and acknowledged state.
- Dashboard: Resolved issues related to filtering and refresh operation.
Recommended Action
We strongly encourage all customers to upgrade to this latest release. Please coordinate with our Field Services or Product Management teams to facilitate your upgrade.
