FATI electric heating elements are manufactured with NiCr 80/20 resistance wire positioned within a metal tube and insulated with high-quality magnesium oxide. The magnesium oxide is compacted through a cold-drawing process to provide effective electrical insulation and heat transfer.
Elements are available in smooth or finned configurations. Finned heating elements provide additional surface area to improve heat exchange with air and other gaseous fluids. Multiple sheath materials and custom executions are available to meet different operating environments, process conditions, and equipment requirements.
