FATI ATEX-EX threaded immersion heaters are designed for heating compatible liquids in hazardous locations classified as Zone 1 or Zone 2. Tubular heating elements are welded or brazed to a threaded screw plug that installs directly into a threaded opening in the tank wall.
The elements use NiCr 80/20 resistance wire insulated with compacted magnesium oxide and are available with multiple sheath materials, thread standards, and optional control or manual-reset safety thermostats. Certified configurations are available for gas groups IIA, IIB, and IIC across temperature classes T1 through T6.
