FATI ATEX-EX electric duct heaters are designed to heat air in hazardous locations classified as Zone 1 or Zone 2. These assemblies use finned tubular heating elements mounted within a steel frame and are available with certified configurations for gas groups IIA and IIB and temperature classes T1 through T6.
Typical uses include air heating in ship and offshore-platform ventilation systems, process equipment, and industrial drying plants. Frame, element, sensor, and control configurations can be selected to suit the installation environment and operating requirements.
