The BD Blowdown Tank collects and cools boiler blowdown water before releasing it below 140°F. With capacities from 30 to 1,200 gallons and a 50 psi design pressure, it safely vents flash steam while holding effluent until cooled. The tank’s vent limits pressure to 5 psi, and recovered steam can preheat boiler feedwater, enhancing system efficiency and operational safety.
