Spray Deaerators

Vapor Power’s pressurized spray deaerators reduce oxygen levels to .005 cc/liter or less and eliminate carbon dioxide, protecting boilers, feed pumps, and feedwater systems from corrosion. By spraying water in thin films and scrubbing it with steam, dissolved gases are rapidly removed, raising water temperature and freeing it from corrosive gases. This process also preheats the boiler feedwater, reducing thermal shock on downstream components, enhancing performance, and maximizing the overall return on investment (ROI) for the boiler system.
