Thermon continues to focus on advancing the efficiency of Heat Trace Asset Management by making continuous improvements to the Controls & Monitoring solutions portfolio. As a part of Thermon’s Digitization initiative and our commitment to providing a great experience to our customers, we release new features/fixes on our products on a regular basis. This release is for the latest version of the Genesis Duo firmware.
Key features:
- Control Method
- Support for Ambient ON/OFF Control Method.
- RTD Inputs to Control Circuits
- Capability to assign any control RTD to either circuit as well as share RTDs between the circuits.
- Controller Type Selection
- The display reflects the selection of single circuit/dual circuit or a single circuit with limiter.
- Firmware Update Progress
- Progress bar at the top of the screen instead of %.
Resolved Issues:
- Fixes issue of more than once device having the same network ID.
- Fixes issues which could cause updates to fail on headless variants.
Known Issues:
- Before any Duo is added to an existing Genesis Network, it must be updated to v1.4.1 and the Genesis Network must be on v1.10 or later.
- Removing USB stick in the middle of update process can cause issues.
- When a circuit is disabled, currently the only indication is the power status changes to an icon. In future, a feature will be added to gray out the circuit gauge to indicate the disabled state.
Thermon highly recommends all our customers upgrade the DUOs in their network to the latest version for enhanced experience.
