Deaerators
The Vapor Power Tray Deaerator, also known as a cascade type, features a vertical domed section typically mounted on top of a horizontal water storage tank, and requires a surge tank for optimal operation. It reduces oxygen levels to .005 cc/liter or less and eliminates carbon dioxide, protecting boilers, feed pumps, and feedwater systems from corrosion. By spraying water in thin films and scrubbing it with steam, dissolved gases are rapidly removed, while the process also preheats the boiler feedwater, minimizing thermal shock. This design enhances system performance and maximizes return on investment (ROI) for the boiler system.
